今まで大学卒業生を入社させてきて、多くの大卒の先輩がいるということと就職事情が厳しいという事もあり、かなり優秀な学生うちの会社にも入ってくるようになりました。 こんなに多くの大卒生が入社に選んでくれたことは非常にうれしいですし、優秀な新人を社会人として仕事も一般常識も教えていかなければならない事に身が引きしまります。 私たちの会社を選らんでくれた皆さんには、アミューズグループの中で是非やりがいを見つけて、古いですが愛社精神を持って頑張っていただきたいと思います。

ケンタッキーおじさん

IMG_0140.JPG IMG_0139.JPG １月に行ったアトランタで見かけたケンタッキーおじさん。 でももちろん本物ではありません。 ケンタッキーフライドチキンの伝道師として、この格好をしながらいろんなイベントに出てるみたいです。 いつもこの格好でいると思うのですが、アメリカ人のびっくりするほど似てました。

養鶏展示会初日

IMG_0100_1.JPG IMG_0095.JPG 今日は毎年アトランタで行われてる国際養鶏展示会の初日。 アミューズの代表として、社長と僕が参加しました。 今年の出展ブースは例年に比べ非常に少なく、来場者少なかったです。 世界の不況。特にアメリカの不況はこんなところにも来ているのだと、ひしひしと感じました。 IMG_0105.JPG 会場の横にはCNNの本社があります。 昨年中に入ったので、今年は外からの写真だけです。 IMG_0104.JPG IMG_0136.JPG 今日の食事はお昼に安い中華料理で、夜はもちろんステーキ とってもおいしかったです。 やっぱりアメリカの中華は安くてうまい。サイコーです。

LA QUINTAホテルで朝食

IMG_0093.JPG 宿泊ホテルでの朝食風景 安いホテルなので、朝食は簡単な物が無料で付いています。 無料でもゆで卵は食べ放題だし、ワッフル（パンケーキ）も自分で作って美味しいのが食べれるし、美味しいオレンジやアップルジュースなんかも好きなだけ飲めます。:mrgreen: おかげで朝から食べすぎました・・・。:*o*: 今から養鶏展示会へと出発します。 何か良い発見があるとよいのです:-P

ウォールマートの卵

CIMG3287.JPG 一応遊びでなく、仕事ということでアメリカの大手スーパーのウォールマートに来ました。 ようは現在のアメリカにおいての卵の販売価格や赤卵と白卵の比率、それに価格などを視察してアメリカ経済との関係を元に、依然と比べてどのように変化しているのかを調べてみました。 と、一応仕事の事も書いておかないと、本当に遊びになりますから、仕事してるぞっていうのをアピールです。 ちなみに日本での卵のパックは透明ですが世界的には珍しい方で、殆どは紙、もしくは発泡スチロールで中身が簡単に見えないようになっているのが一般的です。 その代わりに蓋はいつでも開ける事ができるので、買うときにはみんな蓋を開けて卵の状態を確認してから購入します。 CIMG3286.JPG これはバレンタインが近いということもあり、ウォールマート内のバレンタインコーナーです。 日本と違って、赤ではなくピンクに染まってました。:chin:

レンタカー

CIMG3285.JPG 約１０年ぶりにレンタカーをかりてアメリカで車の運転をしています。:-P 車はシボレーですが、かなり乗り心地もよく４日で１３０ドルちょっととアメリカでのレンタカーはかなり安い。:ahhh: だた久しぶりなだけに、結構緊張して運転していて、外の風景を楽しむ余裕がない。 :[]とにかく慣れるまでは特に左の車線に入らないようには気をつけないと・・・。:evil: 慣れた頃には帰るんだろうなあ。

ワシントンからアトランタへCIMG3284.JPG

ワシントンからアトランタに行く際に搭乗したユナイテッドの飛行機です。 小さい飛行機だったので座席なんかも小さく、短い時間でしたが疲れました。 まあ時差の関係でほとんど寝ていましたけど・・・。:hahaha:
